Description
The Trane VAL6481 is a kind of 3-way zone control valve, made for the purpose of controlling the direction of the flow of the chilled or hot water in HVAC system. It operates through actuation, blocking, or shifting of fluid flow according to a 24V signal from an appropriate control system. This makes it possible to control temperature in the various parts of a building. It is built with forged brass to ensure that durable and has the ability to serve many years with alternating current systems in HVAC systems. It also has a spring return actuation which in effect means that the valve will shut (this is the preset position) if there is power failure.
