The Johnson Controls M9220-GGA-YK10 Proportional Electric Spring Return Actuator is highly flexible and easy to use. This item has a high-impact plastic shell for its rugged construction and can be installed directly onto the damper shafts. The more volts, the more torque that the motor will generate. This makes it possible to force position the blades of the damper in a manner that can let in air in the HVAC system for as much detail as one desires. The other benefit is the incorporation of a spring return feature that closes the damper automatically (fail-safe) in case of power failure.
