Description
The Johnson Controls M9220-BGA-3 Damper Actuator comes with a simplistic yet functional solution. This more durable element has a high-strength thermoplastic structure and straight mounts onto damper shafts for easy installation. It has a two-position (on/off) control signal, unlike proportional actuators. With a 24V AC or DC power supply, the actuator rotates the damper shaft to the desired open position. In the event that power is removed or turned off, the internal spring mechanism returns the damper to the closed position (fail-safe). This is to ensure the right shutdown if there is an emergency while replacing the parts and to minimize any chances of airflow.
