Description
The Lennox 47K15 Solenoid Coil is a genuine replacement that is used only in Lennox HVAC systems. It is an electromagnet which regulates the amount of refrigerant going through the system by switching on or off a valve. It works under the influence of a 24-volt electrical current that moves a plunger and controls the flow of refrigerant through the system. This solenoid coil is 2.7 Inches long, 3.3 Inches wide and 2.7 Inches high. A proper solenoid coil is necessary for the proper working of your Lennox HVAC system. Problems associated with a bad coil include, refrigerant leaks, reduced cool or heat output and ultimate system collapse.
