Description
The Rheem-Ruud 625042 Ignition Control Module is a 24V device designed for intermittent pilot systems. It combines flame sensing and ignition control in one package and therefore provides reliable flame sensing as well as proper ignition sequencing. This module is primarily applied in the gas furnaces and other HVAC systems that need accurate and steady ignition. The integrated flame sensor monitors the pilot flame and if the flame is not sensed the gas flow is cut-off for safety and efficiency. This makes the operations safer and more reliable; the risks of gas leakage or failure in ignition are greatly eliminated.
