Description
The Trane RLY2534 DPDT Relay is a powerful tool that goes unnoticed in your Trane Heating and Cooling system. It is a compact device, with the dimensions of 2.0 x 4.2 x 2.3 inches, and it is used to regulate numerous electrical parts. A DPDT (Double Pole, Double Throw) relay is actually a switch which is located at a remote position. It employs a low voltage signal in this case 24V compatible with 50/60 Hz systems to regulate the passage of higher voltage currents. The Trane is safe to use and has been tested to CSA and UL standards; it can handle temperatures as low as -40°F and as high as 158°F.
